WHY GIVE TO PEDESTAL

The Pedestal Fund is designed specifically to provide the maximum positive impact every donated dollar can make:

  • Our unrestricted scholarships benefit the widest range of Richmond area youth.

  • We support youth-serving nonprofits, helping assure their long-term health and sustain their irreplaceable work.

  • We’re a completely volunteer-led team. This means Pedestal’s endowment – which you help to grow - is dedicated exclusively to the support of our Scholars and Partners.

  • Pedestal’s approach to supporting youth is unique, in that we support not only youth scholarships but also provide critical funding to uplift our city’s network of youth-serving nonprofits. In this way, your donation helps keep our young people safe, prepared, and moving ahead into their futures.

A more educated, skilled workforce means a brighter future for everyone.

Individual Donors

When it comes to uplifting our youth into their futures, every bit of financial assistance makes a difference. When you donate any amount to The Pedestal Fund, your dollars become part of a growing endowment, all of which is dedicated to providing ever-increasing support to students striving to reach their fullest potential, as well as assisting local youth-serving non-profits. The larger our fund grows, the more support Pedestal can provide to our community.

Every dollar matters; every donor matters.

Institutional Donors

By contributing through institutional or estate giving, you can make a lasting impact on the future of Richmond’s youth. Pedestal’s professionally managed endowment assures that your legacy or institutional support will help break down financial barriers so local youths can continue their education and training. Your gift to Pedestal will surely empower Richmond-area students to find their place and ways to contribute to a prosperous, equitable society.
